Comments: Was at G.T's the week Darby was tryin' out for the band. Besides my crew, there was 6 other people in the joint. Tuesday night I think. They were powerful!! Made a prediction they would be huge cuz they made a big impression on me; shuda been too. If B.A. was their promoter, they would have hit world-wide. All my respect!! Keep Rockin'

Comments: First seen the Headpins in the mid 80s in Moncton, New Brunswick, a couple of times in the 90s in Alberta and a couple of years ago with April Wine in Calgary. I will not miss this show coming up in September in Calgary with Lee Aaron because in my opinion Darby and Lee are at the top of my list for female rock vocalists. You two can really belt out a note, I hope the both of you get together and do a song. I don't mean to take away from the bands, they are great musicians. See you in September, ROCK ON !!!

Comments: I was so exited to find you guys on You Tube!!! I was 15 when I first heard Headpins (that was in 1985, I know we're getting old! haha)and really liked your music! My friend gave me your tape, but unfortunately because of all of the moves I ended up loosing it!!! I looked for your music off and on thru out the years and didn't find a thing, until yesterday!!! I was soooooo excited to find Headpins, I blasted your You Tube videos and ran my husband out of the room.... HEHEHE, he got over it... Anyway, thank you for doing what you do. I love it... Sincerely, Melanie Jones, a old fan of your sound!!!!

Comments: I saw you live in Ottawa in the mid-80's, maybe 1985 opening up for ZZ Top (I Think). You put on a such fantastic show I went out after the concert and bought several of your albums. Unfortunately I moved away from Ottawa (To London, Ontario) soon after that and lost track of you a little. Twenty years later the internet has let me find you again. I don't see any tour dates near to London in your 2012 list, too bad I would like to see you again. In 1985 I was 28 and Darby Mills was the hottest lady of rock on the planet! The pics on your site illustrate that she has lost nothing of that beauty in the intervening years. I might just have to come out west.

Comments: Just popped by your website to check out what's been happening with the band, since I left Canada and moved down South.
I used to see you all play alot back when I was living in Winnipeg. I'm friends with and have worked with George Belanger, Darren Moore, Derrick Gottfried, Nick Rivers, and Ken Spider Sinneave.
Any plans in the works to do some shows in the US?? Maybe the M3 Festival?
